Parry is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, including real estate, administrative and regulatory matters, eminent domain, construction, insurance, white collar criminal defense and business entity member disputes.
Mr. Parry was the chairman of the City of Las Vegas Ethics Review Board from 1992 to 1995. He was a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Organized Crime Strike Force from 1983-1989. He was a deputy district attorney in Clark County from 1977 to 1983. He served as legal advisor to the Clark County Planning Commission from 1980-1983.
Mr. Parry is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Nevada, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Parry has been an instructor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas since 1983 teaching real estate fraud, land use planning and zoning, eminent domain, and water law. He is the author of “Extraordinary Remedies, Nevada Civil Practice Manual,” author and lecturer of “Major Land Use Laws in Nevada” and author and sponsor of “Construction Law,” Law Seminar International. Mr. Parry is a graduate of the Southern Utah University (B.S., highest honors, 1974) and Brigham Young University (J.D. 1977). |
