Keith W. McGlamery is a partner in the Real Estate Department. Clients whom he represents include developers, institutional investors, real estate investment trusts, governmental entities and not-for-profit entities. Such representation includes the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, management and disposition of real estate interests as well as the complex business negotiations relating to business matters other than real estate. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 2007 and has been for the prior 10 years.

Mr. McGlamery’s relevant experience includes the following:

• Led a legal team of over a dozen lawyers in the $330 million simultaneous acquisition of four office buildings, a retail shopping area, a major hotel and vacant land
• Formulated a business and legal strategy on behalf of a Fortune 50 company to resolve a complex multi-million dollar dispute, led the negotiations and oversaw the preparation of documents for implementation
• Handled all negotiations for a foreign investment group in the acquisition, financing and eventual disposition of multiple commercial real estate investments throughout the United States with a cumulative value in excess of $1 billion
• Represented an institutional lender in the negotiation and documentation of a $100 million bridge loan for a condominium project
• Represented a REIT in the $160 million refinancing of a portfolio of office buildings
• Created a business model on behalf of an institutional owner for the more efficient negotiation and preparation of leases in multiple office buildings nationwide
• Acted as lead real estate counsel for an investment bank in connection with a $140 million bond financing of a Navy family housing project
• Represented REITs in the acquisition and disposition of significant hotel properties
• Handled the real estate aspects of multiple public finance offerings

Mr. McGlamery is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, and the District of Columbia Bar. Mr. McGlamery also serves on the board of trustees of KIPP DC, a network of college-preparatory charter schools in Washington, D.C.

Mr. McGlamery is a graduate of Oklahoma State University (B.A. 1969) and the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1975).
