He practices with the Public Finance, Real Estate Finance, Transactional Finance, Energy and Project Finance, Private-Public Partnership, Health Care, and Bankruptcy, Reorganization & Capital Recovery Practice Groups.
Mr. Leibundgut is a multi-disciplinary finance attorney. His practice focuses on commercial and public finance. He has been involved in all facets of structured finance and secured lending, asset based credit facilities, capital markets transactions, mezzanine and subordinate debt, intercreditor agreements, factoring, securitization, construction and mortgage loans, merger and acquisition finance, equipment leasing, vessel financing, cross boarder transactions, health care finance and debtor in possession restructurings. He is active in the Public Finance Group in the areas of transportation, P3 projects, private activity bonds, energy project finance, and military housing. Mr. Leibundgut is a member of the American Bar Association and its Commercial Finance Committee and the New York and New Jersey State Bar Associations. He also is a member of the board of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys, a former trustee of Cooper University Medical Center and a former member of the board of the American Liver Foundation. Mr. Leibundgut is a frequent lecturer on Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, secured lending and lender liability. He is actively involved in the CFA, TMA, and NBLA. Mr. Leibundgut is a graduate of Dickinson College (B.A. 1980) and Vermont Law School (J.D. 1983).
