Patrick Gillard is an associate in the Business & Finance Department and a member of the Energy and Project Finance Group, the Securitization Group, and the Transactional Finance Group. He provides counsel to a regional transmission organization and other clients regarding energy regulatory issues and is regularly involved in transactions and financing regarding energy assets.
Mr. Gillard practices in the areas of general corporate law, securities law, and business transactions. He represents issuers and trustees in the securitization of various asset classes and regularly counsels investors in transactions involving private placements of public equities (PIPES).
Mr. Gillard is a graduate of the University of Scranton (B.S. 1995) and Widener University (J.D., M.B.A., magna cum laude, 2000), where he served on the staff of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, was a member of Phi Kappa Phi.
