Mr. Dunlap is a partner in Jackson Walker's Business Transactions section, focusing on energy law, and serves as Managing Partner of the firm's Houston office. He represents clients involved in exploration for and development and production of oil and gas, the acquisition and sale of oil and gas interests, and the development and financing of electric power generation projects.

Mr. Dunlap represents domestic and international companies and financial institutions in a broad range of corporate finance transactions including energy, real estate, and general commercial lending transactions, letter of credit facilities, bond financings, commercial paper back?up facilities, equipment and project financings, and private placements of both debt and equity securities. He is certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a past Chairman of the Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Dunlap is a graduate of The University of Texas (B.B. A., 1971) and The University of Texas School of Law (J.D., 1974).
