Linda E. Donohoe is Partner in Jackson Walker's Business Transactions section, focusing on energy matters. Having also served as both in-house and outside counsel to multinational and domestic power generation companies, Ms. Donohoe has extensive experience in a broad range of matters relating to the development, financing, construction, and operation of domestic and international power generation facilities.

Ms. Donohoe has been responsible for international and domestic power generation projects from the early stages of development through financing, construction and operation. She has been lead counsel in connection with corporate and tax structuring for power generation projects and negotiating development agreements and joint venture agreements. She has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating engineering, procurement and construction contracts, power manager agreements, power sales agreements and credit agreements, as well as other agreements relating to power generation projects, including fuel supply and transportation, interconnection, water supply, operation and maintenance, concession rights, tax abatement, real estate option and acquisition, and right-of-way. In addition, Ms. Donohoe has significant experience with permitting, regulatory matters, water rights, environmental issues, insurance products and other issues relating to the development, construction and operation of power generation facilities.

Ms. Donohoe is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.B.A., 1985) and The University of Chicago (J.D., 1989).
