Michael L. Allen is a partner in the Real Estate Department and a member of the Real Estate Leasing Group, Real Estate Development Group, and Real Estate Finance Group, and Energy and Project Finance Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of land acquisition and development, and commercial leasing (industrial, office and retail).

Mr. Allen has represented local, regional, and national clients in commercial real estate transactions since 1984. From 1981-1984, he served as judicial law clerk to Chief Judge Lloyd D. George and Judge Robert Clive Jones, respectively, of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada. He has also received an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Mr. Allen presently serves as a member of the Bountiful City (Utah) Planning Commission, and on the Alumni Board of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.

Mr. Allen is a member of the Utah State Bar and the State Bar of California. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University (B.A., 1977), and the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University (J.D., 1981).
